Event Etiquette
Here's a list of do's and don't:
- Please remember that everyone must RSVP for our CONGA events. RSVP'ing helps us gauge how many people to expect for refreshments, food and such, so that we spend your dues money wisely. In addition, for space limited events, it is first come first serve. While we would like to have everyone attend all events, members who are gracious enough to host events have the right to limit the number of people.
- If after you RSVP, you discover you cannot attend, please send us your subsequent regrets so that we can better plan. For events that are limited space only, this may also allow space for another person.
- The privacy and anonymity of all members is an absolute requirement. No members may share phone numbers and information about other members or club activities with any person or persons outside the membership, nor with any other organizations.
- We are a social nudist group. The events are not sex parties. In fact, overt sexual behavior during club functions is strictly forbidden, even in the hot tub. CONGA is about nudity and freedom. There are plenty of other venues if sex is what you are looking for.
- Members are expected to show mature behavior at all CONGA functions. Overindulgence in alcohol is discouraged, and may result in expulsion from the event, as well as the loss of club membership.
- The use of illegal drugs (including marijuana) at our events is prohibited and will result in expulsion from the event, as well as the loss of club membership.
- Alcoholic beverages are typically BYOB (unless otherwise specified in the event announcement). The host will not be providing beer, wine or mixed drinks; do not ask him for any. Again, the events are BYOB.
- Bring a towel to sit on.
- For events with access to a hot tub, you need to bring a second towel for drying when you get out of the hot tub. You cannot use that same towel to put on the furniture you sit on.
- We are very fortunate to have people who open their homes to host events. Be gracious and respectful.
- Smoking at a CONGA event will be determined by the host or the rules that govern the event site.
- Leave your valuables at home. It's just the wise thing to do.
- Plan to take your clothes off at the events. Remaining clothed is not an option.
